The Dreaded Red Pen

Today marked the first day of editing. My twenty-five page typescript is now drenched in red ink. I'd like to say that I'll start typing the draft into my computer tomorrow, but as tomorrow is Easter I'm not holding my breath.

I almost forgot to post tonight! No progress on my writing, but its been a busy day overall so I don't feel bad about it. I'll need to consider what counts as progress in the editing process.

Draft One

I just finished typing the first draft of this story. I won't bother with a page count, as some pages are only half full, but it's a good looking stack of paper and I am pleased. Now, on to editing/rewriting/being extremely critical of myself. Oh joy! Oh rapture! But this is what I was working towards in step one, wasn't it?
